Staffed public spaces

In-person sessions take place only at mutually agreed, staffed public locations—never homes, cars, or private spaces. Elong’s library list is informational and does not imply a partnership.

Age-appropriate rules

Adult students cannot book minor tutors. For students under 13, a parent or responsible guardian remains present throughout every in-person session.

Reviewed tutors

The platform reviews each application and relevant qualifications, approves subjects separately, and renews approval each academic year.

Transportation boundaries

Users arrange their own transportation. Tutors and students do not drive one another or meet inside vehicles.

Protected communication

Scheduling and session communication stay within approved channels. Personal social media, payment requests outside the approved Square link, and private invitations are prohibited.

Report and respond

Email info@e-long.org to report harassment, unsafe conduct, location concerns, academic dishonesty, payment pressure, or any boundary violation.

Report a concern

Speak up early. We will take concerns seriously.

For a non-emergency concern, email info@e-long.org. Include the booking or session details, what happened, and the safest way to follow up. Reports go to authorized Elong administrators, not participating schools.

Academic integrity means the tutor supports the student’s understanding without doing the student’s graded work for them.

Tutors may

Explain concepts and examples
Ask guiding questions
Review work and identify mistakes
Help make study plans

Tutors may not

Complete graded assignments
Write submissions for a student
Take tests or access school accounts
Provide active exam answers
